Queer Brooklyn is a celebration of two very proud identities: that of being queer, and that of
living in Brooklyn. Whether you are one of the thousands of queers who’ve flocked here for
the greener pastures of our cement and tar, or a native, born with the style of Brooklyn
coursing through your attitude, this site is for you.
What we hope to create is an Internet presence where gay men and women can come
together to share our Brooklyn lives – past and present. Utilizing blogs, bulletin boards,
and editorial (ours and yours), we hope to create an atmosphere that is both genuine and
informative. What we hope to avoid is another advertiser-driven gay website
specializing in Uber-twink pictorials and Hollywood lesbians; the websites that just love
everything – as long as it advertises on their site.
